Molded Felt

Molded filters are resin treated because the resin makes the felt more rigid once the part is heated in the mold. The resin allows for easier molding and forming. We have a reliable mold manufacturer that works with us to provide specialty molds for virtually any application.

Depending upon the application, some of our filters require rubber gaskets and grommets that are molded into the felt. Others are stamped or die cut to a particular size. The end caps we manufacture may be made in a variety of material. We have over 27 years of experience making a vast array of filters and caps. Some caps are made from molded felt while others are injection molded plastic that fits over the end of our pleated felt filters.

Applications for molded felt include:
